As Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting loudly, Have pity and mercy on us, Son of David! When He reached the house and went in, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.
Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you;
And their eyes were opened. And Jesus earnestly and sternly charged them, See that you let no one know about this.
But they went off and blazed and spread His fame abroad throughout that whole district.
Jesus healed the men because they had faith that He could do it.
Due to the faith, trust and reliance they had in Him, He healed them. I want that! I want to KNOW that Christ will heal me, hold me, guide me. I want to know without a doubt that I can trust Him in all things. And right now, I don’t seem to. I mean…I could sit here and say that I know that I can trust Him with any and everything, but it’s different to actually live that out. If I trusted Him with everything, I wouldn’t worry about finances or relationships or housing or anything else. That’s the simple matter of it; if I truly trusted the way that I should and want to, I would be a lot better at waiting patiently and without worry.
Abba, please help me to truly trust in You in EVERY way. I want to, oh how I want to. I love You. Amen.
