Night is today’s word.  It’s pretty hard to get a photo of night.  To the left is my neighbor across the street; his garage light is nearly eclipsed by his pickup truck.  On the right is my flagpole and little fence around it. 😀

Where I Stand

The photo theme of today is “Where I Stand.”  Normally I would have tried to be creative and gotten an interesting picture.  However, I was simply too tired to do that.  My sister-in-law and I have an estate sale coming up (shameless plug: Two Sisters Estate Sales Services) so I was working on that. I snapped this photo when I was done in the kitchen. Of course, this is not the entire kitchen. There’s a whole ‘nother half.  All I have left to do in there is price! YAY!

Today’s Photo

Today the subject of our photos is supposed to be ‘sky.’  While I was out taking my pictures, I noticed that it had really clouded up.  It was beautiful.  Now we’re enjoying the amazing sounds and smell of rain.

In a region where the drought has been going strong for years, it’s really nice to have the moisture.  Even when we’ve had rain several times in the last week.  Even when our friends’ home flooded while he was out of town. I praise God for the rain, for the moisture that will grow our crops and provide livelihoods to our farmers.

I’m so thankful that once again, I’m becoming able to see all that my God is doing and able to rejoice in Him and His blessings.

Thank You, God.
